This would be nice, especially on the Espruino board where the LEDs don't have normal PWM.

It should be possible with some small mods to UTIL_TIMER

This is even more possible now it's all refactored and in jstimer.c...

note - no mods to the timer needed now - just set repeatInterval up correctly. We still need to be able to manage timers a bit more easily though.
