Before reporting a bug, please confirm the following:

  • I have read the wiki, and I didn't find a solution to my problem / an answer to my question.
  • I have searched the issues, and I didn't find a solution to my problem / an answer to my question.
  • If you upload an image or other content, please make sure you have read and understood the Codeberg Terms of Use

Where did you get Gadgetbridge from:

  • F-Droid
  • Gadgetbridge Nightly F-Droid repository
  • Bangle.js Gadgetbridge from the Play Store
  • I built it myself from source code (specify tag / commit)
  • I previously used Gadgetbridge from other sources and then updated to F-Droid version

Your Gadgetbridge version is:

0.77.0

Your issue is:

I am unable to pair LinkBuds S. Device is discovered and it tries to bond, but stops after a few seconds and says bonding failed immediately. Tried reinstalling the app aswell, same result.

Sorry if this is a little vague, I just don't know what information to put here.

I feel like I'm just missing something apparent, I just can't find what I am doing wrong.

Your wearable device is:

Sony LinkBuds S (not really a wearable but yeah)

Your Android version/manufacturer flavor is:

Google Pixel 6a, GrapheneOS

Hmm we're seeing quite a few of these (eg. #3484, #3439). Starting to think there's something weird with GrapheneOS.

Can you try to:

  • Pair the headphones on Android bluetooth settings
  • Add as a test device from the debug menu

not really a wearable but yeah

Need to update the issue template, Gadgetbridge only supported wearables back then :)
